Distribution Operatives
Pencoed, Bridgend

Our Distribution roles are varied with no two days being the same, one minute you’ll be unloading supplier deliveries and the next picking orders and shipping them to our customers.
We are now looking for team members to join our flexible workforce working Fridays 4.00pm – 9.00 pm with the flexibility to attend work at short notice and potentially work extra hours when needed.
When it comes to your existing skills and experience, personality is the first thing we look for as you will be provided with all the training you need. We want someone who is flexible in their hours, happy to get involved, quick to learn and used to working accurately at pace

Product Specialist - Manual Low and Medium Active range
Pencoed, South Wales

(Maternity Cover 11-month contract)

Our Manual Wheelchairs offer an individual the basic transit to self-propel chairs with a range of configurations to suit individual needs as such we are now looking to for a Product Specialist to support our Manual Wheelchair - Medium Active range (Maternity Cover 11-month contract).

The Product Specialist is a role that is vital to the company as you will be offering/ delivering training and product support to one of the most well-established segments of Invacare UK’s business. The role will allow someone the opportunity to learn more about another part of the UK business as well as gaining product support and marketing experience within the Marketing department. 

Responsibilities

•    Prescription forms: Maintain and manage local product prescription forms in line with European procedures from development into customised and electronic formats; 
•    Product Support & marketing documentation: Support the generation of UK product literature - bulletins, press releases, web site updates, newsletters and advertising campaigns to achieve high levels of brand awareness in public, trade and consumer segments;
•    Customer Visits: The role may require you to visit our customers and attend external meetings within the UK.
•    Training: You will be expected to provide basic product training to our customers both internal and external where you will set up the training area deliver training and collate evaluation feedback.
•    Product Launches: Participate in product launches, presentation days and high-profile industry trade events.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can be an effective communicator with presentation experience, Computer literate – office packages and database management experience; Diplomatic and courteous; Keen to learn; Full UK driving license.

Any previous clinical experience or knowledge an advantage. Knowledge of Invacare’s Wheelchairs - Low and Medium Active manual wheelchair range is an advantage.

Business Development Manager - UK Eastern Region
Safe Patient Handling Team


Invacare's approach to Safe Patient Handling is about understanding and working with Occupational Therapists and Healthcare Professionals to support their experiences within Community, Residential and the Acute care sector. 

Our Business Development Managers are dedicated to providing support and assistance of the highest quality to Healthcare professionals and the successful candidate will manage a sales area where they will be responsible for building our brand, increasing our market presence, establishing long term account relationships, and developing a great customer experience. 

To be successful in the role candidates must possess a thorough understanding of the NHS and dealer markets. Previous experience of the manual handling, home care and bed market would also be a distinct advantage.

Key responsibilities will include finding and bringing new business leads to fruition as well as managing and developing existing accounts whilst providing great customer support at all times.

Hence candidates must be able to demonstrate how to deliver first class customer sales service, be comfortable presenting to small or large groups of medical professionals, have a proven sales record, be dynamic, energetic and ultimately, hungry for success.

In addition, other prerequisites for the role include possessing a good technical awareness, strong IT and organisational skills together with first class attention and the ability to analyse information in order to achieve budgets and targets.

Sewing Machinists - Pencoed

You will need to have previous experience in a busy manufacturing site, and experience on flat bed, twin, strapper and overlocker sewing machines.  The role will include producing high quality cushions, mattresses and upholstery for our customers’ orders. Additionally, you will be preparing the Velcro and straps ready for the products, burning and cutting the products to the highest standard whilst ensuring quality and housekeeping targets are met.

To be successful in the role the candidate must be a good team player but also able to work alone if required; be hard working, conscientious and flexible. More important is an eagerness to learn, participate in training and to develop self.
In addition, other prerequisite for the role include, good communication and I.T skills and preferably educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
